I have been tutoring since 2000, with expertise in all math, sciences, language arts, history and other humanities. I also tutor in SAT/ACT prep and essays of all types. I tutor all levels, from grade school through Masters/PhD levels.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Get to know the student and what the student needs from me as a tutor. Then dig into the material, teach and discuss it, and through that get to know how the student learns best so I can optimize my teaching going forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20 years tutoring experience, 15 years teaching SAT/ACT prep classes, 3 years teaching writing classes.
BA in math/English, PhD in linguistics
