About
I am a PhD who has a decade experience in tutoring near Lafayette, IN a wide variety of topics. I was an award winnning instructor in Political Science in graduate work, and have a strong record of math tutoring as well. I can tutor anything from counting to Laplace Transforms! I also have a lot of experience in statistical consulting and methods too.
In my downtime, I play chess and disc golf competitively. I am also a very big fan of hockey and baseball.
I like showing people how to use a new skill and the coaching aspect of tutoring. I also really enjoy seeing my students succeed and building their confidence. I also enjoy getting a chance to help many students of all ages improve their math, stats, and critical thinking skills!

Frequently asked questions
How did you get started teaching?
I started in my undergraduate work tutoring probability and calculus, and kept it up as a hobby. I started doing more of this when I entered graduate school, and have found it to be something I have really enjoyed. So much so, that I continued doing this after my degree full-time.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students young and old through the years. My start was with non-traditional, students and more recently with traditional students. I have also worked with students with ADHD. My best audience is high school and college aged students.
