Hi there! My name is Halle Throgmorton and I am a special education teaching assistant at the elementary level based in Carmel, IN. I have over three years of classroom experience dealing with all sorts of curriculum. I am currently attending Grand Canyon University, earning my special and elementary education degree. My passion in life is helping kids excel in academics and I pride myself on my dedication and individualized teaching style.

I’m pretty new at tutoring professionally, it’s mostly just something I’ve done for younger kids or kids my own age who really struggle with math. I’m pretty patient I’m the oldest of 7 kids and I plan on majoring in mathematical education when I go to IU Bloomington. I hope to improve your general understanding of math through methods you’re most comfortable with and catering to your learning style.

I have a bachelors in early childhood education and have spent 7 year teaching kids from 6 weeks old to 7 years old. I believe in positive feedback and understanding that each child learns in their own unique way.

Since 1996, I have been working with children and adolescents, all of whom come from very diverse learning abilities, helping them develop their love for literature; strengthening how they communicate, be it orally or with the written form; inspiring and supporting them as they pursue post-secondary education and maintaining close communication and even friendships as they ventured off into the world of work.
