About
I have been passionate about English for over a decade. I began tutoring ESL in 2012 as a high school student, continued to tutor through university, and became a certified TESOL instructor in 2015.
I taught English for four years in Japan from 2016 to 2020. I have a degrees in English Literature and East Asian Languages and Culture, as well as minors in Second Language Studies and French.
I'm excited to help others grow their reading and writing abilities whether English is a first or second language.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I find out where they're at and where they want to be. Then I go lesson by lesson, creating a plan that's flexible and works with the student and our progress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have TESOL certification, an English Literature degree, tutored for five years, and taught 1st through 9th grade in Japan for four years.
