Patricia Sorenson

I grew up learning Spanish language and culture at home from my Grandma and Mom, our whole family speaks Spanish. I traveled to South America often and usually stayed all summer with my aunt, uncle and cousins. I even took some classes over there! As a junior high student, I was taking high school Spanish courses. By the time I was a freshman in high school, I took AP Spanish. My passion for the language and my heritage, prompted me to continuing be a part of the Spanish Club and tutor other students. I also took Spanish in college, then began teaching and tutoring for all levels and ages. I have developed curriculum and taught classes for children Pre-K to high school, adults, teachers and administrators. I have tutored one-on-one for different levels. I love talking in Spanish, tutoring/teaching/helping others and traveling/learning new cultures. I have been formulate to have traveled to Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, Panama, Mexico and Spain, where I was able to use my Spanish. I am fluent and have utilized my language skills in various jobs/businesses. My personality is very easy-going, kind and patient. I am passionate about helping people. I look forward to helping you learn or advance your Spanish!
