About
Me as a Teacher
I welcome everyone to join me in learning the English, French, Russian, and Romanian languages, piano performance, ACT English and Reading prep, and academic essay editing. Learning languages can be a difficult, yet rewarding journey, and I hold empathy and patience as key attributes to a successful teacher. My passion for learning languages and helping others communicate with people from all walks of life has inspired me to become a community tutor on Italki, and I hope it one day inspires you to teach others as well. Thank you for considering me as your teacher!
My Lessons & Teaching Style
Lessons will begin at the level of the student, ranging from beginner to fluent. I have verb conjugation, declension, and vocabulary word charts prepared for all levels and also plan on integrating visual/audio content to provide a holistic approach to learning any given language. For fun, it will be a great idea to read articles and current newspapers, so that students can apply lessons to real world content and better converse with native speakers. There will be summary recap and sometimes a quiz at the end of each lesson.

The ability to share languages with people means that I can share various cultures and customs. It opens the door to academia and work abroad, and most importantly, insight into another world and all of the experiences such a journey entails.

I'm a foreign language freelance tutor, teaching the Romanian, French, English, and Russian languages. I'm an incoming ESL teacher and also tutor students on piano performance.
How did you get started teaching?
A helpful Language Resource Center representative shared an online tutoring platform for languages. I signed up, and was immediately happy with the kind of work I was doing. It's impactful, to help students achieve their goals and dreams.
