Hi, this is Saham. I am Mechanical Engineer with more than 10 years of teaching experience. My Engineering background helps me building strong basis of math and its application in my students. I have helped my several students improving grades in Algebra , geometry, Calculus, Trignometry, general and business mathematics.

I generally do an Introductory session / diagnostics test ( Free of charge) with student in the begining and plan building blocks accordingly.

Saham is an incredible tutor! He was very patient with me and explained things in such a way where difficult concepts were alot easier to understand. Not only that, but he would go back to core algebraic concepts that would help with the sections of trigonometry I was struggling with. Saham also provides a general strategy specific to the course you are taking and truly understands the math concepts at a master level. I would absolutely recommend this tutor to anyone!

Frequently asked questions

With all new students I like to take the beginning of the session in order to undergo a set of diagnostic questions so that I can be sure to properly aim the direction of our tutoring sessions. These would include getting to know your current grades, areas of weakness, areas of strength, study methods, and, upcoming assignments or examinations.

I can also arrange for a free  demo/consultation session so that we can best understand how I can help you.

I have 10+ years as a private tutor as well as a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.

Generally we don't charge for the first session. It is free such that we can assess the student and plan next sessions accordingly. Also, it facilitates student to experience the teaching style of teacher. So we both move forward with a better understanding.
My father is a teacher. So I had childhood passion for teaching. Do as soon as I reached high school I started tutoring students to pay me college fee. After my graduation as an Engineer I worked in couple of good companies like Toyota and IKEA. But my child hood passion for teaching pushed me to become a full time tutor. And now I have more than 12 years experience working as a tutor.
I work with all type of students and build good understanding with them. My students are as young as 10 years old , teenagers, youngster in 20s and adults in their 40s. I am helping students in elementary, middle , high school, colleges and universities. So I work with all type of students
When one of my college student informed me that after failing college Algebra twice before, he has achieved an A.
