About

Learn math, develop computer science skills, or prepare for standardized tests with a Harvard student who is passionate about using AI and machine learning to help spark change in our society! I've taught multiple high school and middle school students about the intricacies of mathematics and computer science. As a 2021 Presidential Scholar and a perfect scorer on the SAT, I was at the top of my graduating class in the US, and I hope to share my knowledge with the next generation of learners.

Pavan tutored me in Java. It was great learning from Pavan because his knowledge is both broad and deep. He knew far more than what was taught my class. Unlike an inexperienced teacher, he guided me on questions I was stuck on, letting me discover things on my own. He doesnt just give you the answer straight away. Also, he is very friendly and easy to work with.

Frequently asked questions

I think understanding where the conceptual misunderstanding lies is critical. So when a student comes to me with a problem, I try to get a grasp of what the student is really struggling with rather than jumping to potential solutions. After grappling with the problem, I list out potential avenues for the student to pursue and then we tackle them together.

I have taught mathematics to junior high students and computer science to high school students. At hackathons (coding competitions) that I've organized, I provide guidance to teams that are struggling and help them understand the root cause of their issues. Some of the teams who were initially struggling have gone on to win the competitions!
