About
I believe I am able to make learning fun! I have had many different tutors in the past and have learned what it takes for me to enjoy a session and what it means to dread one. With my experience I think my students will not only learn a valuable language, but also have a great time doing it! In addition to foreign languages, I have a passion for mathematics and feel as though I am also able to make learning math very enjoyable!
I am very passionate about learning foreign languages. I grew up speaking 2 languages before learning English and continued to add new languages to my record as I have gotten older. Learning languages is more than just having a new skill, it is a valuable tool in succeeding in the professional world and immersing oneself in a culture! In terms of math, I have also had a passion and excitement for it as well.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I meet a new student, the most important thing for me to do is figure out how they like to learn. Some students prefer a more interactive method where they are speaking directly to me in order to practice the language, while others prefer to write sentences out. After we figure out their teaching style, I construct games and activities to make learning the new language more fun and rewarding!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an incoming senior at Loyola University Chicago on the pre-med track. I have been taking Spanish classes since I was 10 years old, as well as tutoring Spanish since I was in high school. In high school I was on the executive board of Spanish Honor Society, and participated in an outreach program that taught English to native-spanish-speaking children in underprivileged neighborhoods
