My Tutor Anywhere

My name is Daniel, and I am the founder of My Tutor Anywhere. I have a master’s degree in education and have worked as a certified special education teacher in the Chicagoland area for over 13 years. I am also trained and certified in Orton-Gillingham, one of the most respected approaches for teaching students with dyslexia and other reading difficulties.

At My Tutor Anywhere, we believe that every student can learn and grow with the right support, instruction, and encouragement. We specialize in working with struggling learners, including students with dyslexia, ADHD, learning disabilities, autism, and a wide range of academic and executive functioning challenges. Our team includes experienced, compassionate tutors who are skilled at building strong relationships with students while delivering individualized, research-based instruction.

Reading instruction is one of our greatest areas of expertise. We use structured literacy approaches, including Orton-Gillingham and Wilson-based methods, to help students build foundational phonics, decoding, fluency, spelling, and comprehension skills. We have seen tremendous student growth through explicit, multisensory instruction that is carefully tailored to each learner’s needs.

In addition to reading support, we provide tutoring across K–12 subjects including writing, math, executive functioning, test preparation, and general academic support. We work with students ranging from elementary school through college and understand how academic expectations evolve across grade levels.

What matters most to us is the connection we build with students and families. We know that confidence, motivation, and trust are essential parts of learning. Every student learns differently, and we pride ourselves on being flexible, patient, and highly individualized in our approach. Our goal is not only to improve academic skills, but to help students feel more capable, independent, and successful overall.
