I am an expert in standardized test preparation, with 14+ years of experience helping students excel on exams such as the ACT and SAT.

I have developed an effective curriculum comprised of the most effective tips, strategies, and content review for each subject tested on the ACT and SAT.

Most students that I work with score at the highest level of all test-takers, averaging 200 points of improvement on the SAT and 6 points of improvement on the ACT.

Every student is different: I focus on individualizing tutoring strategies to fit each student’s unique skills and abilities.

I believe that test success is within the reach of every student: I focus on helping students reduce test-anxiety by utilizing positive, motivational reinforcement principles and effective skill-building curriculum.

    Before selecting Great Expectations tutoring I shopped around looking at many well know tutoring companies. Many of the well known companies tried to oversell hours. I wanted an SAT math tutor to help improve my daughters score. She previously scored 590 and decided to retake the exam, one month before the next test date. Many companies tried to sell me upto 40 hours for math only test prep. Ben met with my daughter and assured me that the study plan he recommended would be sufficient for our overall goals. With one month of tutoring, my daughters score increased from 590 to 690. Additionally, my daughter is only a freshman in high school. Well definitely use Ben again as she prepares to take the exam for college admission.
