Academic Tutoring Services:
- Subjects: Math, Science, History, Social Studies, Language (Spanish or German)
- Homework help, studying, college preparation
Mentoring:
- The proper balancing of academics, socializing, relationships, college prep, sports and extra-curricular activities during one's teenage years can be incredibly difficult and emotionally-taxing for the teen and their parents. Having recently (and I'd like to think successfully) navigating these years of my life, I'd like to offer my help to help your child achieve their full potential. During regular afterschool academic tutoring (HW & studying) sessions (if mentoring requested), I will also get to know the mentee, asking questions about their interests, concerns, activities & goals and listening thoughtfully as a mentor and hopefully, as a friend. Based on goals, interests, and parent's input, I'll provide thought-out advice on how to prioritize and work hard to achieve those goals.
NOTE: If mentoring not requested, Myles will focus purely on academic tutoring.
RATES: Negotiable depending on age, location, services requested, session frequency, etc. (generally ~$20/hr)
LOCATION: Myles holds regular sessions at student's homes or at a local library (whichever preferred)
IF INTERESTED: Please reach out, and Myles would be happy to provide a detailed personal bio/resume and participate in an interview. Looking forward to the discussion and hopefully having the opportunity to help your student learn and thrive!
