I am a high school English teacher with an Illinois teaching license. I am qualified to tutor students looking for help with both reading comprehension and writing skills. I have the most experience working with students ages 12-18; however, I also have experience tutoring college students and junior high students. I have a passion for education and a great love for literature. My favorite thing about being a high school teacher is seeing the "lightbulb moment" when a student learns a new skill. I have always loved working as a tutor because it allows me to provide the extra support that many students need in order to be successful.
