Math, English, And Test Tutoring
About
I am a dedicated and hard worker. I graduated from the Illinois Mathematics and Science academy, where I was a peer tutor in math through calculus, science, and work as a tutor in the writing center. I am now a student at the University of South Florida. When I work with students, I pride myself in equipping everyone with the tools that they need to be successful on their own instead of just giving them answers. I have consistently tested very well in both Math and English and feel confident in my ability to transfer my knowledge to students.
I love the moment that a student finally understands something that they have been struggling with. The light in their eyes when things finally click is like magic, and anything I can do to help others get there is a moment of joy for me.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first step when working with a student is to assess what their current level is so that we have a good starting point and I can start to ascertain what we can hope to achieve through tutoring. I have the student take a practice test/assessment of some kind as well as talk to me about what THEY feel they need the most help with so we can be on the same page.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a trained academic peer tutor as well as a writing center tutor.
