About
Hi! I am Ellen and I am extremely passionate about teaching, explaining and assisting others in comprehension and application of concepts and ideas. I have my BA in Human Resources Management and am currently studying to become a registered nurse and receive my BSN in a short time! I have actively tutored other students for nearly eight years through my institutions. I have also been hired by local families to tutor students on general education courses and subjects. I was on the Dean's List for each semester during my first undergraduate degree. During my completion of prerequisites for nursing school admission, I was awarded the Dean's Highest Honors for my effort, persistence and acdemic achievements.
I look forward to helping you understand, comprehend and apply concepts and ideas to your school work. I am very detail-oriented and will ensure that you never feel uneasy about a topic or course content.
You will have unlimited access to contact me at any time if you have any concerns or questions. I am here for YOU. I want YOU to SUCCEED!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received a wonderful and thorough education to receive my BA in Human Resource Management in 2018. During that time, my courses initially consisted of basic General Education requirements. I began my specialized, degree-specific courses near the end of my second year of undergrad. As a division in the School of Business, my courses consisted of general business, economics, advanced mathematics, advanced English, science, and research methods. Courses geared toward a more HR-specific focus included Compensation and Performance Management, Industrial Psychology, Staffing, Employment, and Business Law. I have taken and completed over 24 credits in psychology.
In 2020, I decided to return to school and pursue a career as a Registered Nurse. I was the recipient of the Dean's High Honors List with a GPA of 4.0 after completing 48 credit hours in just 24 weeks! I excelled and truly enjoyed all of the lectures and labs of Anatomy & Physiology I and II, General/Organic Chemistry, and Microbiology.
