I am a math teacher with 36 years experience. I enjoy working with all students whether they are advanced or struggling. I enjoy sharing my excitement about math with them and helping them see their way to understanding how to achieve their goals.
I can tutor all levels of math through Calculus AB.
I use a variety of manipulatives and technology to help students see what what is confusing them.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student I like to look over a sample of their work or do a pre-assessment/survey of areas of need. I also believe building a trusting relationship is most important. I want to make sure the student is getting what they want and need to be successful and retain the concepts.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors of science in math, as well as teaching certificates in 3 states. I have a Master of Science in educational administration.
