I am a recent graduate of the University of Virginia and current medical student at Midwestern University.I have had experience tutoring elementary and high school kids in reading and math. Although I have never tutored science, I have extensive experience in topics given my college major/minor.
I have always loved learning, so I enjoy teaching others in hopes that I may be able to pass some of that along.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In college, I majored in Cognitive Science and minored in Chemistry. I am currently applying to medical school so I have recently taken all of the science & math prerequisites so it is still fresh in my mind!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with elementary and high school kids.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I always think students should always try the problem first and see where along the line they get stuck. I find that students often look to their teacher whenever they get stuck instead of seeing if they can figure it out for themselves - there will always be problems that at first glance we may not get, but learning to try to work them out on your own (instead of using your teacher as a crutch) is important!
