My dad and I had been searching for an SAT tutor for a while, and it wasn’t easy to find the right fit—until we met Peg. In just a few months, she helped me raise my score from a 1100 to a 1270, and honestly, that improvement alone speaks for itself about how great she is. Peg was so sweet, patient, and easy to work with. She made every session feel comfortable and even enjoyable. She’s also really personable—she’d ask about what was going on in my life and actually remember, which made me feel like she cared about me beyond just test prep. She really went out of her way to help me. Normally, her tutoring plan is 15 weeks, but since I needed to take the SAT in August, she adjusted her schedule so we could meet twice a week instead of once. She was also super flexible—if I couldn’t meet in person, we’d just switch to Zoom without any hassle. We covered everything from grammar and vocabulary to algebra, and she made sure to focus on my weaknesses while still building on my strengths. Time management was a big challenge for me, and thanks to her strategies and all the practice, I was able to make real progress. She gave me the right balance of support and a little push to stay motivated without feeling stressed. And honestly, her dogs are the cutest—definitely a bonus! I’m so glad we found Peg. She made such a difference for me, and I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a tutor who’s not just great at what they do but also kind and supportive. 😊
