Experienced Math And Science Tutoring
Hi, I'm Muskaan. I have had previous experience as tutoring high school kids in Science and Math as a Peer tutor. I am currently a Pre-medicine student with a GPA of 3.87 and an Honors student, so I have a solid foundation in the sciences and mathematics, especially biology, chemistry, and psychology. Additionally, I can provide assistance with SAT test prep as well as AP testing prep. With my experience with tutoring, I can help students by providing challenging practice problems, way to remember formulas, and other strategies to improve their test taking skills. I provide homework and additional resources that help student achieve their goals.
I love the look on a student's face when they finally understand a topic they are struggling moment. It's the ah-ha moment!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I try to understand how a new student learns. For instance, if you are a visual learner, I will use more images and try to build mental images. It takes time to get to know a new student and to understand their thought procedures. Often, I let new students try out problems alone and show their work to understand how they would normally think about a certain problem.

I have been trained as a Peer tutor at my high school.

I have been tutoring for 3 years.
What types of students have you worked with?
All of different kinds! Mainly math and science students!
