I am a retired marketing executive with a Masters and Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University, and I have a real passion for teaching. This past year I tutored 6th and 7th Grade ESL students as part of the Illinois Tutoring Initiative. The Illinois Tutoring Initiative was a program funded by the state of Illinois and the federal government to provide students who fell behind during the pandemic with critical extra learning support. We made great progress in reading comprehension and writing and had a lot of fun doing it.
