What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I begin by identifying what my students goals are and what their current level of English is. Once I know where they are and where they want to go I can better determine the best way for us to get there.
Everyone learns differently so there is no one particular teaching method that I use.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a Writing Consultant at Moraine Valley Community College for several years. I have a masters degree in social work and I am an Integrative Mental Health Therapist.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard fee is $30 to $50 an hour.
What types of students have you worked with?
I enjoy working with children, youth and adults.
