About
I want to make sure my students and clients feel confident and comfortable when learning a new language. Regardless of skill level, my services are tuned for individual progress. Learning a new language can be fun and exciting if done right!
I enjoy teaching people in ways that will help them remember the language in ways farther than just memorization. I have many friends who say they took spanish all of high school and still only remember how to ask where the bathroom is. This inspired me to teach in a way that makes the language unforgettable and a true skill.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Getting to know your goals and needs in language studies! Day to day conversation practice improves fluency, so depending on your skill level, I asses and create an improvement plan that is both fun and structured. If you are looking to learn Spanish for fun or for a required course, learning from a native speaker will guarantee day to day vocabulary and proper speech knowledge.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was born and raised in Mexico, then moved to Miami, FL where I graduated high school. I graduated for Loyola University of Chicago with a degree in psychology. I grew up in a strictly Spanish speaking household with an English speaking education. Having knowledge in both languages has allowed for many more opportunities and I wish to help others polish their Spanish speaking skills!

How did you get started teaching?
I have been helping friends and colleagues with Spanish classes since I was a freshman in high school. I enjoy teaching others about my native language and culture. Many friends and classmates have referred me to others who enjoy learning through conversation and games; however if a more structured form of learning is requested it can also be done.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with people of all ages. Most clients were high school students or fellow university students who requested my services for high school, AP/College level courses.
