About
I am a recent grad from the University of Illinois Chicago, where I graduated with Highest Distinction, Magna Cum Laude in Neuroscience and a Minor in Mathematics. I also tutor elementary school students voluntarily through Tutoring Chicago.
I have excelled in my classes like genetics, advanced biology and labs, college chemistry, biochemistry, organic chemistry, calculus 1-3, linear algebra, and differential equations. Some more specialized classes include biology of the brain and cognitive neuroscience. I am currently working as a research associate on two research projects in psychiatry and have completed my senior thesis in psychiatric biomarkers. As a tutor, I can provide pre-medicine and research mentorship in addition to my extensive knowledge and understanding of the sciences and math.
Throughout my college years I assisted my classmates in completing homework, going over class materials, and working in groups to teach ourselves during the pandemic. I believe teaching one another is the best way to learn and retain, and with the stresses of college and high school, I believe in focusing on the best way to work through assignments and exams, so that we can complete classes successfully and with confidence.
