Test Prep Tutors NU
About
As a student who graduated from highschool a few short years ago (class of 2017), I am very familar with the testing formats and strategies it takes to succeed on college prep tests. I received a 34 on the ACT (1490-1530 equivalent on the new SAT) and received no lower than a 34 on any individual section of the ACT. I love to talk to students and come up with the best strategies for success! I know how stressful of a time this can be for students and I want nothing more than to see them succeed!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first like to know where the students are struggling specifically. If they are new to the process I would like them to take a practice so we can see where the student is at and I have a baseline to work with! From there we will go over strategies for success based on common trends in the SAT and ACT and go over strategies that caters specifically to the student's needs!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a Junior at Northwestern University studying Neuroscience and Global Health. I receieved a 35 on the ACT with a 35 on the Reading section, 36 on English and Math sections, and 34 on the Science section.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I am typically fairly flexible when it comes to pricing and work on a case to case basis. However, I charge by the hour so one "session" is one hour and if the student needs more time than two hours would be two sessions so on and so forth.
