About
I graduated from the University of Chicago with a BA in Economics this June. I have had over four years of tutoring experience, specifically with test prep (SAT, PSAT, TOEFL) and math (Elementary, Middle, High School Math/English & SAT/PSAT Math & English). All concepts, whether in math, grammar, or reading, can be taught in an exciting and fun way, and I try to incorporate that into my lessons. I also customize my tutoring plan and the way I teach to the level of my students to make sure they understand the material thoroughly. I would love to work with you to help you accomplish your dreams!
I love working with students and helping them do well on exams and in classes.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
During the first lesson, I talk to the student about what they are struggling with (different concepts and assignments). Then, we start working through different problems and I start taking note of problems they do well on and others they are struggling on. The next lessons we spend talking through concepts, me teaching them concepts and then putting what they learned into play by solving different kinds of questions and problems. I can give them homework if that is the expectation of the parent and then see how well they performed on the homework as an indicator of how well they understand the concepts.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I finished the American School of Warsaw and graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in Economics. I have tutored more than 12 students in the past 4 years in different subjects.
