What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's (biochemistry), master's and doctoral degree (forensic science). I have taught high school students full time and tutor other subjects part time.

How did you get started teaching?
After earning my bachelor's degree, I was hired to help high school students improve their Math grade. It was this success that made me realize I can also help students outside the classroom by offering private lessons.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Achieving my PhD and being an author on multiple peer reviewed publications. This event has made me realize that hard work and determination are crucial in achieving any goal that you set your mind to.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Set up a meeting with the tutor first to learn about them. You can test their knowledge, get a feel for their interaction with you, and know what their expectations are of you.
