What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My teaching approach is centered around each student’s individual needs and current English and STEM levels. My main goal is to help learners become more confident in speaking and writing scientific language in English. I focus on correcting grammar mistakes, helping formulate proper word choice, and correcting pronunciations. I also offer English conversation focused practice sessions. The topics of these sessions can be whatever you want. From pop culture and American slang, to interview practice, you decide. I also edit and proofread in my spare time, and would be happy to dedicate sessions to editing essays, manuscripts, or other publications that need revision.
