What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I will analyze any assessment data provided, discuss with parents their students' needs, meet with student and perform formal and informal assessment to determine goals and action steps as well as interevention that may be needed. Then I begin to build a relationship with student to be sure they are clear on our educational goal for them. I then will implement what I know about research based intervention and math, science, and social studies grade-level standards to create a curricular plan for our time together.
