About
I'm a recent graduate from the journalism school at Northwestern University. I'm skilled in writing, editing, and grammar - English was my favorite subject in school! I've tutored children from ages 3-16 and have had extensive professional experience copywriting and editing at major companies like CME Group and smaller start-ups. I also write for Spoon University - a nationwide food publication. You can read my articles here: https://spoonuniversity.com/author/stellakleynerman.

I'll typically have an intro call/meeting with the student to go over their curriculum and areas where they may need improvement. I'll then ensure I'm read up on everything so that we both can work together to achieve their goals!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to the top journalism school in the country at Northwestern University where I became well-versed in all aspects of English including reading/analyzing literature, writing different genres, and editing everything from articles to research papers.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$50/hr is usually my starting salary, but williing to talk if this is a problem.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students coming from many different backgrounds and ages.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you feel comfortable with the teacher and open up to them about anything you might need help with. The more questions, the better!
