About
I am a certified Physician Associate in the Metro Detroit area. In addition to my Master's Degree in Physician Associate Practice, I have a Master's degree specializing in Cell & Molecular Biology from Oakland University. I have research experience in oncology and stem cell biology and I was a penguin researcher for the Detroit Zoo during my undergraduate degree. I have tutoring experience in general biology and endocrinology, but I would be happy to share my knowledge of physiology and many other science subjects as well.
I really enjoy being able to share my experiences with anyone who has a passion for science, and I love being able to help people grasp some of the more difficult concepts biology has to offer. I understand Biology can be difficult or boring at times, so I try my best to make it fun and easy to learn.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to start by discussing what topic the student is working on. I'd like to know how comfortable they are with the material and what their strengths and weaknesses are in the topic. I also like to know what their preferred style of learning is. No two learners are the same, so I like to adapt my teaching style to each individual learner as much as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's degree in Physician Associate Practice and a Master's degree in Cell & Molecular Biology. I have a plethora of research experience and I have published in multiple peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing will vary between topics and the level of the coursework. For example, endocrinology might be a little more expensive than beginner biology. Regardless, I try to make my prices as competitive as possible.
