My career is dedicated to inspiring young minds in the field of science. I currently teach full-time at one of the nation's premier open-enrollment high schools but have experience teaching middle school and assisting college students towards success in their science courses.
My teaching certifications include Biology 9-12, Chemistry 9-12, Physics 9-12, and General Science 5-8.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology Education from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and am a Master's candidate in Educational Psychology at Ball State University. I am a dedicated and accomplished educator with a passion for fostering a love of learning and academic success among students.
My experiences in classrooms of all-ages has equipped me with a nuanced understanding of the developmental needs and challenges faced by students during critical stages of their academic journey.
One of my standout qualities is my adaptability and inclusivity in the classroom. I have valuable experience working with special education students and multi-lingual learners which strengthens my commitment to providing tailored support for diverse learning needs. My strengths include creating inclusive environments and building relationships with my students while providing engaging and easy-to-understand science instruction.
