I have experience teaching people from elementary to peers of my own. I work with a student to ensure that they understand the material rather than memorize. I try to work with the student to make sure I adjust to their learning style and I enjoy the process.
I love teaching and helping others. I enjoy helping others learn because I know a strict classroom environment isn’t the best for everyone and sometimes one-on-one learning is more effective. I try my best to find new ways to work around how the student learns and it even teaches me new things!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Well to begin with I would get to know the student and their attitude towards the subject. I would ask them to tell me about what they think is their biggest strength and biggest weakness so that I can get a hold of how they approach the subject and which areas to focus on the most.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a sophomore at Bolingbrook High School and I am a straight A student with a 4.5 GPA. I also used to tutor my younger neighbors and always help out my friends if they’re struggling in a class.

I price $15-20/hr depending on how old the student is and what they require.
