What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Dependent on the skill set, I will assess reading and comprehension levels using Fountas and Pinnell reading assessments. I will conduct an interest survey, if students are interested in what they are learning they will be learning. I will go over areas of struggle and strength to decide their next steps of instruction.

Illinois State Teaching License 2019
ESL Endorsement from Illinois State University
500+ Clinical hours in a class room
3 years of tutoring experience
Certified in: Words their Way, Fountas and Pinnell, Reading Recovery, and Math Masters.

Starting at $25 an hour, dependent on age and materials needed. If meeting multiple times a week, willing to negotiate.
