Hi! I'm Mia, a recent graduate from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in International Relations and Spanish. I provide personalized support in reading, writing and Spanish for K-12. I have experience tutoring other students, peers and siblings in writing essays, sentence structure and paragraph organization & flow (wording). In 2023, I presented and received recognition at my university's Undergraduate Symposium for my award-winning research essay on Cortés and the conquest of Mexico.
My goal as a tutor is to meet students where they're at and guide them toward a clear goal with lasting progress. I believe that language learning and comprehension should feel approachable and engaging. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns!
