Hello! Thank you for considering me as your tutor. First, I want to acknowledge the responsibility and determination you are exemplifying by seeking additional practice in science. That is something to be proud of!

My name is Ms. Duncan and I have been teaching middle school science for 7 years. In the classroom, I focus on increasing graphical information literacy by frequently exposing students to tables, charts, graphs, and models that they observe, discuss, and make determinations about. We also strengthen our scientific writing by practicing the CER method, which is the method expected on standardized tests for written responses. We also perform a lot of hands on experiments then reflect on them by writing lab reflections. Digitally, I will use lab simulations and hands on activities when practical.
