Health Sciences Tutoring

My goal is to help students develop confidence in their ability to understand complex topics and further knowledge through real-world applications practice.

I am a current medical student, a former learning assistant (1 year) in college-level courses such as Cell Biology and Human Anatomy (1 year). My work involved facilitating student analysis of published research through open-ended and close-ended questions. The primary goal was to lead students as they would observe research data and form valid conclusions. As a learning assistant, I also conducted active research studying the prevalence of student questions and answers during lecture times vs. in-class activity times in order to assess the best ways to engage students in active learning.

I am also a former instructor with Junior Achievements and have worked with 1st and 2nd graders to introduce them to topics such as family, community, and jobs.
