Maeve’s Tutoring

Hi, my name is Maeve! I am a rising freshman in college. I believe my young age is beneficial to my tutoring because I use the information that I teach daily. This keeps me refreshed on the material and helps me to understand the way your child was originally taught, so I can better know how to adapt and use new strategies if needed.

I enjoy tutoring because I love helping people in any way that I can. Ever since I first started learning math, I liked teaching my friends and classmates when they didn't understand. Being a student myself, I am up to date on the material because I work with it everyday. I also know any struggles or difficulties a student might have with their learning, allowing me to teach in different ways depending on how they learn.

Moreover, I have been tutoring since my freshman year and have worked with 7 students over several years improve both their math knowledge, testing strategies, and confidence in their academic abilities.

Lastly, I took the ACT this year and earned a 36. Combining my personal experiences preparing for this test and resources I have attained, I am qualified to help your son or daughter adequately prep for the ACT and attain their own personal goal.
