I’m a former high school English teacher with experience in special needs education. During my retirement (June 2012) I have tutored one on one, volunteered at elementary and middle school and worked with college level students adjusting to a new curriculum. My volunteer experience gave me new insight into the early years of academic learning and the various methods may need to be explored to help students learn successfully.

I have a Masters degree in Education and I take piano lessons and foreign language courses for recreation.
