Learning Math Shouldn't Hurt!

I am a graduate of Elmhurst College in Illinois with a degree in mathematics. I have served as a middle school special education assistant and lead math teacher for over six years. I believe in approaching math as it's own language, and helping students fill in the gaps needed to be successful. My students and I have fun AND are successful each day.

I teach pre-algebra, algebra and high school geometry each day, so I feel I would be a really good tutor if these are the areas you need assistance with.

I enjoy being able to explain math in ways that help students understand the hows and whys of the methods. I also enjoy working with kids and young adults - they always seem to amaze me with their insights!
