What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start with a placement test, so I can check goals and needs to personalize lessons.
After that, I chat with the student to know what the preferences are for practice, homework and activities.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a major on English teaching as a second language. I have done some translation work for technical documents.
I do a lot of research to keep myself up to date in teaching materials, methodologies and useful software. I'm working right know in the TEFL certification.
