Engineering Success
About
I have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 25 years of experience as a professional engineer. So if you are studying any STEM field, there is a good chance I can help you. Being good at engineering is more about being a good communicator than about being smart; you need be able to bring abstract concepts into terms your audience can understand to successfully transfer knowledge. I have quite a lot of this experience, primarly from decades of work trying to convince management types to do the sensable thing with technology solutions. But I also spent my evenings at the kitchen table teaching my daughter all of her math and science that was poorly explained in her public school.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We need to get aquainted, find common ground, and then I can relate the concepts in a way that would be best understood by the student. Once we have a raport we can identify objectives and work in that direction. Working on problem solving is the best avenue to learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a professional engineer for 25 years after I got my BSEE.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
