I’m a high school student who has had a consistent 4.0 for several years and has pre-existing tutoring experience. I’ve worked with kids of all ages, mainly grades k-10. As for what it’s like working with me , I tend to make connections to the students interests and tie it into the learning material. When people have something they like mixed with what they’re trying to learn, I’ve figured out it often works best. I often draw diagrams to explain and do live work so that students can ask questions when they have them. My track record with tutoring is that the people I’ve helped have gotten higher test scores, higher grades in classes, and more understanding on the subject they’re learning. Even when it comes to the hardest topics to understand, I can always make a connection that helps!
