Dana Culbertson

I am a recent graduate of the prestigious LCSC PACE teaching program, which provided me with intensive summer internships teaching a summer camp for grades 3-5 at River City Middle School. I completed my student teaching in a 4th/5th gifted and talented combo class in December 2024, and am now certified to teach grades K-8 in the state of Idaho. I have experience working with infants, toddlers, and pre-k ages, all the way through Grade 5. I also taught small groups as a Title 1 Paraprofessional at a public elementary school working with grades K-5 meet their reading goals.

I am enthusiastic, patient and compassionate when working with my students. Reading, writing, and literature are my passions! I strive to help every student meet their personal goals at their level, adjusting teaching methods based on their learning style. My goal is for my students to feel comfortable and confident in their skills, able to problem-solve effectively when they are unsure, and have fun with learning!
