I am a certified teacher and have taught both elementary and middle school. I have experience in all subjects, but mainly English/Language Arts and math. I also have experience working with students with learning differences as prior to relocating to Idaho I taught at a school for students with dyslexia and other reading-based learning differences.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I like to have a phone call with parents to discuss their student's needs and get to know a bit about them. After that, I will set up our first session administering any assessments if needed or jumping right into our work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified teacher in Idaho and Maryland, with a Special Education certification as well.
How did you get started teaching?
After college, I moved to Maryland to pursue a career in the horse industry. After training and caring for horses, and teaching riding lessons, I realized my passion was truly in the teaching. I then went on to receive my masters in teaching and become a certified teacher.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages, from kindergarten through high school age, specializing with students who have learning differences.
