Welcome! Are you struggling in an area of science and need a little extra help to get the grade you desire? I am here to help! With a secondary science teaching certificate and 8 years of teaching grade 6-12 sciences, I will help you overcome your challenge and make science fun. My specialties are Chemistry and Biology, but love physics and Earth science as well. Previous students I tutored went from a D to an A in one semester. You + Me + Science = a great solution!
I love and have always loved science. I've both worked as a 6-12 science educator for 8 years and trained 80 first year science teachers, and it excites me to see others gain a passion and curiosity for science. I enjoy seeing the light bulb go on for students as they learn and understand new concepts.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually meet with students once to twice per week for an hour. We go over any assignments from class and practice problems together, study for tests, etc.
