Student Learning Solutions

Throughout my 20 year teaching career, I have worked with students with a wide variety of learning needs, including those who struggle with reading fluency, comprehension, writing organization, attention, executive functioning, and learning disabilities. I believe every student can learn and succeed when instruction is tailored to their individual needs.

As a tutor, I take time to get to know each student and understand both their strengths and challenges. My goal is not only to improve academic performance, but also to build confidence and help students develop strategies they can use independently. I use assessment data, evidence-based instructional practices, and positive encouragement to help students make meaningful progress.

Whether your child needs help catching up, maintaining skills over the summer, or building confidence in a particular subject, I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and asking questions.
