Hello! I’m Robert Fryer, a STEM and Special Education teacher with a Master’s in Education and over 13 years of experience teaching in Hawaii. Through my educational brand, Ed Resonance, I specialize in creating highly engaging, gamified learning experiences that are tailored to how students actually learn.
Working with me means moving beyond traditional, one-size-fits-all instruction. As a current Special Education Department Head, I build my curriculum on proven psychological and neurobiological frameworks—such as the Concrete-Representational-Abstract model and Polyvagal Theory. This approach ensures that every student not only grasps complex concepts, like 6th-grade long division, but also feels genuinely supported and motivated throughout the process. I am deeply passionate about designing resources and strategies that help students build confidence, master difficult subjects, and truly enjoy the learning journey.
