Writing Tutoring
About
My passion of writing started during my sophmore year of highschool through writing an essay about the book "Catcher In the Rye". I chose to challenge myself during my Junior and Senior year of highschool by enrolling into the International Baccalaureate English program for Standard level and Higher Level. I graduated with a International Baccalaureate English Certificate. During the summer of 2020, I have tutored middle school students with a concentration in improving essay writing. I have also been appointed by my English Professors to become an English tutor for my current university as a freshman. I have recently won an essay award in May 2021 for a scholarship from my Univeristy's Akbayan American Pilipinx Organization.
I like working with individuals who focus more on the process of learning how to imporove on their writing in a long run rather than just being able to get the assignemnt finished with. I have effective communicating skills and will create material that will help you within your learning style and capacity. I have expereince working with children as a coach and tutor since 2017 where the ages range from 6 years old to 18 years old.
