I prefer giving my students the best of the best as I understand how students ourselves the understand the importance of striving to succeed in everything that we do in our own personal lives and that includes our academics. We will always refresh our students on the material and push them to reach their objective no matter the struggle. If we help them realize the potential that we know that they have, then they are a MEGAMIND like us and they are eager to learn and grow their minds.
The most important giveaway that we get from tutoring our students is to help them become better individuals as a whole. It's one thing to tutor students on how to understand a simple concept from math to science but then there's giving them the resource to apply multiple concepts to similar subjects. We only wish to help them grow so that one day they will continue to focus on making the right choices in their lives and strive for greatness.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, it is our job to first be fully acquainted with the student so that they are comfortable with us and willing to be open about certain topics regarding their subjects or questions that they are curious of asking. A student who's relaxed with their tutor will be more focused and engaged than a student who isn't familiar with their tutor. This helps build credibility between the student and the tutor which will improve the student's ability to learn.
What types of students have you worked with?
We've mainly worked with students who are freshman and sophomores who are learning on through the Advancement Via Individual Development or simply AVID. These students would tell us, tutors, what is their situation to their own groups then we would work together to help in their given subjects. These would revolve around World History, Geometry and Algebra 2, Physical Science, Algebra 1 and so on and so forth. When we aren't tutoring AVID students, we are helping students at our school learn how to understand complex subjects such as AP Calculus and continuing to grow with each other as we learn and work ways on how to fully grasp the concepts given to us.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
When a student comes to hire one of us to help them either strengthen their skills in a subject or learn something entirely brand new, they need to know if the tutor will have a personality that they can relate to as students who can relate with a tutor can better work on helping better their skills quicker. Now price is also important as some students may work, and others maybe need someone to pay for their sessions. If you want to work with a particular tutor and they are busy with another session, they can email that particular tutor to see if they can do a one on one tutor session. We want the student to feel as though they are able to trust and depend on the tutor so they can be successful and well-rounded.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Before a student is considering talking to a teacher about their personal needs, they need to ask themselves three different questions about themselves. Number one is there anything that I need to improve myself without my teacher/ tutor's help to accomplish my goals. Number two, am I willing to push myself beyond my normal capacity and commit to what my teacher is saying to help me complete my goals. Finally, they need to ask themselves that once they commit, will they use their newfound knowledge to help their fellow students succeed and grow together or will they keep their knowledge to themselves and not derive others the same pursuit to better themselves.
