Carlyssia's Consult
About
Tutoring requires patience, and I have plently of patience for my students. Every kid learns differently and I adjust myself to thier style accordingly, so that every student recieves individualized support. I have tutored my fellow clasmates and my younger family memebers. I have since graduated to training and teaching adults, and children of no relation to me. It has given me the experience of differnet learning styles and I am more than well equipped to teach anyone! Since the 7th grade, I have been an Honors English student. After high school, I started my own small business consultancy, where I am known for my expertise in finding and writing grants. I write grants and business plans for people all the time and I am glad I was able to choose a career that I can do what I'm best at! I am caring and friendly and carry a mother's touch anywhere I go. I have experienced different living/family situations, and I am very understanding in that way. Nothing will stop me from making sure each child/adult learns what they desire to.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, you really just have to know what they know and what they don't know. We will review what they already know, so it will be easier to learn the 'don't know'.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have tutored young children to adults, ranging from five to literally seventy-one years old. My business REQUIRES that I proof read my work, because it will be in he hands of many people (investors, builders, etc.,).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
